Marcia Goldberg
Marcia Goldberg, principal of COLORS for DESIGN, has extensive experience in the design world. A native of the Midwest, Marcia studied fashion design at Washington University in St. Louis and after graduating moved to NYC with her sewing machine and duffel bag to start her journey in the fashion industry.
Marcia has had a successful career as a designer and design director for small and large companies, designing women’s and children’s knit and woven lines. She is known for her keen eye for concept trends and regularly shops domestic and international markets for color, print and fabric direction, and theme inspiration. Marcia truly believes that color is what best captures the trends for each season and is the starting point of any collection. In kicking off her own design work, she always turns to the best — NOA Color.
Marcia met her husband while they were both working in the garment district and they have raised three children (and three dogs) together on Long Island. She is an avid runner and has completed a Half Ironman as well as dozens of marathons and triathlons. Wherever Marcia travels in the world, whether for trend shopping, factory visits, or vacation, she always brings her running shoes to explore each new city!
